About the Opportunity

The Team Leader, Business Support, is accountable to the Business Manager, Planning and Land Use Services (PLUS), for the provision and coordination of administration services across the PLUS Division.

The role will be responsible for the coordination of executive support to 5 Directors across PLUS, located in multiple offices across various locations. This will include the supervision, support and development of business support staff working across the Division to meet priorities.

Key requirements of the role include: managing priorities; development of staff, ability to draft a range of correspondence; knowledge of Cabinet processes; relationship building across the Department and with the Minister’s Office; supporting the Business Manager with finance and HR processes; and a strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software.

Flexibility and the ability to develop business knowledge quickly are essential requirements of the role as business needs may change.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
