Trainee Lending Consultant

Our client based in Parramatta has an exciting and dynamic opportunity on offer. This 24-month Traineeship will see the successful applicant being mentored and trained on the job – No experience necessary!

We are actively seeking someone who is passionate about joining the Finance sector. Someone who loves to learn about money enjoys working with numbers and has a strong desire to learn and grow all whilst completing a Certificate IV – Finance and Mortgage Broking. This position is a 24-month full-time traineeship commencing in January 2021.

This position requires NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE as full training will be provided

This role is a Traineeship where you will have the opportunity to work full time in an entry-level position and complete a Certificate IV, all whilst being paid!

Initially, this will include:
Categorising and storing documents from clients such as pay slips, bank statements, and I.Ds.

Ordering credit reports and valuations

Over time your responsibilities will expand to include things such as:

Reviewing bank statements, payslips, and loan contracts

Assessing the borrowing power of clients

Identifying and solving credit issues

Contacting clients to update them on their applications, request documentation, or find answers to questions

Preparing and submitting applications

Ultimately, the aim is for you to be able to fulfill all the responsibilities of a mortgage broker including:

Recommending credit products

Identifying lenders who best suit a client

Managing the client sales journey from first meeting to settlement.

24-month fixed-term contract

Full-time hours (Mon-Fri / 9-5pm)

National recognised qualification – Certificate IV Finance and Mortgage Broking
